Ruminations on Book Cons and Signing Events

If you are anywhere on bookish social media or in the book world, then you have probably noticed the almost overwhelming number of book conventions and signing events that have popped up over the past couple of years. I have been to several and have seen lots of accounts online of others and boy do I have some thoughts. They will not be in any logical order, but it’s more fun that way, right?
